SAFETY & TESTING
We believe in creating products that not only give you an instant confidence boost but also help enhance your favorite features over time thanks to powerful results-driven formulas. We thoroughly test performance and safety so you can discover how they work for you, not if they work. How do you test for performance? During formulation, we work with a network of internal team members and external testers to provide detailed feedback on the products we are developing. We analyze this data and continue to formulate it until we achieve a highly effective product. Once we finalize a formula, we work with third-party research facilities to perform one or more of the following:
Consumer perception study
Clinical study
Clinical grading
Instrumental measurements
This testing ensures that our products do what they say! What kind of safety tests do we run? Once we finalize a formula, we work with third-party research facilities to test:
Stability and compatibility with our packaging
Protection against the growth of microorganisms
Potential to irritate skin or eyes
Elemental impurities such as arsenic, lead, mercury, 1,4-Dioxane, etc.
We test at least six safety characteristics on all cosmetics, and often more.

Manufacturing
Babe Original’s manufacturing facilities follow international standards for cosmetics established by ISO 22716. These good manufacturing practices provide guidelines for cosmetics production, control, storage, and shipment.
